Cool PR Website!

Check this website out! It is appropriately called "Everything PR," and it really has everything!

From environment news to the top and current PR books that are out there, it is a great site for young and old PR lovers. If you just want to read updated articles about the entertainment world or brush up on a few PR topics like "how to use Twitter," and so forth. It also has an interesting section named PR goofs, where PR attempts didn't go as planned.

It has a section that is called PR resources that provides you with topics like, the top 10 PR websites, how to write effectively to make your voice heard.

I love this site and I enjoy reading it and learning about different things that are going on in the world but it also does it from a PR viewpoint which is relevant to my lifestyle at the moment.

Good Press Release!

I may be a Public Relations major and am currently working for a great firm in Atlanta, GA, but there is one thing for sure, I am terrible at writing a press release! Although my boss is amazing at it, I would like for one day to be asked to write one and to actually accomplish it with out stressing out and worrying if it is good enough.

I found a great website for all of you PR people out there who want some advice in the press release department!

The whole website, really, is a great learning tool for any professional PR practitioner. It gives your short little reminders for when you want to write that perfect release. We all know that grabbing the attention of an audience can be hard no matter how long you have been doing it so this is a little something extra to help refresh your memory every once in a while!

Lindsey Lohan

This girl is in need of some good PR representation! Since it seems that she doesn't listen to her family for advice on how to behave you would think that her PR people would step in and try to make it a little easier. Not in her case. Seems like every week Lindsey is doing something she shouldn't in the public eye forcing her PR people to release statements also trying to take up for her behavior. In my opinion I think that she should stay home for once and get her life together but in the mean time if she insists on going out her PR staff needs to stop babying her and put her consequences on this young girl. Instead of trying to make her out to be a goody girl who bad things keep happening to they need to start placing the fault on her and allowing her to take some responsibility.

About her whole father situation, they keep battling back and forth on Twitter.. Which I think is a terrible idea for any celebrity to have, but their irrelevant Twitter battles are immature and inappropriate. Family business is family business. Her PR group should step in and advise her to NOT have a Twitter account because all I have seen on there is negative things about her and her life.

These are just some observations I have made when reading about Lindsey and how her PR staff deal with her reckless situations. Step it up!
